The Northwest Indiana Fencing Club (NIFC) is a recreational fencing club in St. John IN, teaching Olympic Style Fencing (Ages 10 to 70), while supporting competitive fencers. Open Fencing is every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 6:30-8:30PM.

NOVICE OPEN FENCING from 6-7PM, Mondays and Wednesdays. 1 hour of strip time with the club coaches to work on bouting, in a lower intimidation environment.

YOUTH Ages 6 to 10 EPEE CLASS with Olympian Marek Stepien will be on Thursdays starting April 3, and will run for 4 consecutive weeks.  First session: 4:00 PM – 4:45 PM
Second session: 4:50 PM – 5:35 PM No experience necessary. Ages 6 to 10 years old. Dates: 4/3, 4/10, 4/17, 4/24

BEGINNERS' SABER CLASS will start FEB 27th, and will run for 8 consecutive Thursdays (6:30-8:30pm) introducing you to Olympic style SABER fencing.

No experience necessary, ages 10 & older.

A perfect basic introduction to sport fencing.

NIFC holds events for club members; fun events like birthday bouts to our competitive President's Cup. These are in addition to OPEN FENCING on Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings 6:30-8:30pm. President's Cup events may be held during Open Fencing and supersede Open Fencing.
